Tulsa's been called "America's Most Beautiful City." Well, within Tulsa, the most beautiful neighborhoods can be found in midtown Tulsa. The homes in midtown Tulsa, OK will enchant you. I've decided to profile some of the most historic neighborhoods in midtown Tulsa. These neighborhoods include Swan Lake, Tracy Park, White City, and Yorktown.

Homes in Swan Lake

The Swan Lake neighborhood surrounds the lake of the same name. Ducks float lazily by on Swan Lake, and you'll see plenty of beautiful lily pads.  Most of the homes in Swan Lake have a gorgeous view of the lake. The architects built these homes in the Georgian Revival and Spanish styles.

In fact, there are more duplexes and apartment buildings located in Swan Lake than in any other Tulsa neighborhood. Some redevelopment did occur in Swan Lake in 1997, but the character of the neighborhood has remained largely unchanged.

Homes inTracy Park

Tracy Park, a smaller neighborhood in midtown Tulsa, is known for its wonderful vistas. Many of the homes in Tracy Park have a great view of downtown Tulsa. Originally, the homes in Tracy Park were built in the 1920s.

This neighborhood contains some famous Art Deco residencies. Tulsa is famous for its Art Deco style, although this style is usually associated with commercial buildings. In Tracy Park, you'll find a variety of building styles.

White City

The White City neighborhood is located just east of the Business District. This makes it a particularly convenient neighborhood for professionals. Most of the homes in White City were built in the 1920s and 1930s. The Tudor Revival and Minimal Tradition styles dominate this neighborhood.
