The National Register of Historic Places has designated many of Tulsa's neighborhoods for preservation. Many of the homes in midtown, Tulsa, OK are historical landmarks. Here are a few historic neighborhoods in midtown Tulsa.

Homes in Gillette

J.M Gillette built the famous Gillette Mansion in 1922. The style of this mansion has influenced the architecture of the homes in Gillette. The fame and glory of this gorgeous neighborhood consistently attract buyers. It's actually one of the smallest historic districts in all of midtown Tulsa, but it's also one of the classiest.

You have to take a tour of the homes in Gillette. They are astounding.

Homes in Maple Ridge

The citizens of Tulsa used to call Maple Ridge "Black Gold Row," because many oil tycoons built homes in this neighborhood. While the homes in Maple Ridge are best suited for upper-middle class families, there are some very affordable homes in this incredible neighborhood.

You will find large, sprawling lots in Maple Ridge. Families really appreciate the ample space that Maple Ridge provides.

Homes in Ranch Acres

The Ranch Acres neighborhood was built after World War II. It is unique in that it is filled almost entirely with ranch houses. The homes in Ranch Acres are my favorite. Somehow, ranch houses manage to combine luxury with a casual environment. It's a winning combination.

It's such a beautiful neighborhood, and it's preserved much of its original look. You must check out Ranch Acres homes.  You'll love them.
